Monocrete mark start of Lent on Ash Wednesday

“Remember man that you are dust, and to dust you shall return”.

Monocrete observed the celebration of the Ash Wednesday with reverence as ashes were put on their foreheads as a reminder that man comes from dust and to dust he shall return.

Ash Wednesday marks the first day of Lent, a six-week period during which Christians often abstain from rich foods such as meat and dairy.
